Right after onboarding you'll land on the home screen with a Plan a new trip prompt — tap it to start your first trip. After that, open the menu (the burger in the top-left) and choose New Trip whenever you want to add another.
Either entry point opens the same flow, and you can pick how to build the trip:
Once a trip exists you can forward booking confirmations to a personal alias address and Roam will pull hotel, flight and transport bookings straight into it.
Yes. Open the trip from the home screen, tap the info menu on the hero card, and choose Share trip. Three options:
Guest and Collaborate invites are tied to the email you send them to — the recipient signs in (Google or Apple) with that exact address to open the trip. If they don't have a Roam account yet, signing in creates one.
Yes. Trips, wishlists, checklists, budgets, expenses, past trips and preferences live in your account and load on every device you sign in on.
There's a local cache too, so the app opens with your last-loaded data immediately, even before the network responds.
You can open Roam and read your most recently loaded trip without a connection — itinerary, wishlist, checklist, budget and booking details all stay viewable.
Making changes, asking roam, generating or importing itineraries with AI, parsing forwarded booking emails, and loading new map tiles or photos all need internet. Edits won't queue up while offline — make changes once you're back online.
ask roam is your in-trip AI companion. It knows your itinerary, hotels, dates and the places you've been, and can answer travel questions, suggest hidden spots near you, or update your plan when something changes.
On the Free tier you get 10 ask roam messages for the lifetime of your account. Pro lifts that to 40 messages per day, resetting at midnight UTC.
Open the menu drawer (top-left burger) and go to Profile. Scroll to your Pro plan card and tap Cancel Pro membership — the in-app flow walks you through it.
Because Pro is billed through Apple, you can also cancel directly from your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Roam. Either way you keep Pro features until the end of the current billing period, then the account drops back to Free. Your data stays intact and you can resubscribe any time.
Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar. Scroll to Delete Account at the bottom of the page, tap Delete my account, and type DELETE in the confirmation field. Full steps are on our account deletion page.
Your account, trips, wishlists, checklists, budgets, push notification registrations, notification preferences and analytics events are all removed. If you've shared trips with collaborators your name is removed from those trips — the trip itself stays available to the people you shared it with. Expenses you recorded on someone else's trip stay on that trip, so their record of who paid for what stays complete; expenses on your own trips go with the trip.
Trip conversations you were part of stay readable for the other people in them, with your messages shown as sent by a former traveller rather than under your name. A conversation nobody else was left in is deleted with your account. Section 8 of the Privacy Policy sets this out in full.
If you can't reach the in-app flow for any reason, email hello@roamyourway.app from your account address and we'll handle deletion manually.
Email us at hello@roamyourway.app and we'll get back to you within a day or two.
